A day of star-studded sparkle…

Press & PR Assistant, Ben Wooldridge (@benwooldridge) reports back from yesterday’s big Panto Launch…

Oh yes it is!… there are only 85 days to go until the UK’s Biggest Pantomime opens here at Birmingham Hippodrome and yesterday we got a sneek peek at all the glitz and glamour we have in store in what is sure to be one of the most star-studded casts the theatre has ever seen!

Amidst the beautiful dwarfs cottage created inside our Patrick Centre the morning kicked off as we welcomed the media and press to meet the stars of the show for an exclusive photocall and interviews…plus the reveal of who will be playing our Snow White, the lovely winner of BBC’s Over the Rainbow Danielle Hope! The rest of the full cast were also in attendance including John Partridge, Gok Wan, Stephanie Beacham, Gary Wilmot, Paul Zerdin and Matt Slack for a sparkling photocall as they chatted with TV, Radio and Newspapers about their leading roles.

Shortly after we welcomed Friends, Group Bookers and VIP’s for a special chat with the cast about the upcoming show and what audiences can expect from the most spectacular panto in the land! As the questions came to a close the full cast headed out to the foyers to meet and greet all in attendance for those all important photos and autographs.

Everyone here at the theatre worked extra hard to make the day a success and all of us agreed that the show is going to be simply magical…
