Welcome to a Brand-New Season!

As we wave a fond farewell to three months of Disney’s The Lion King it’s now time to raise the curtain on a new season of stellar performances here at Birmingham Hippodrome…

We have now announced the full range of shows leading up to Spring 2014 including some fantastic new additions. Newly announced productions include Fiddler on the Roof starring Paul Michael Glaser, the return of the classic musical Evita,  a new production of Happy Days and the National Theatre’s multi-award-winning  One Man, Two Guvnors.

We are also proud to reveal some of the headline performances at next year’s biennial International Dance Festival Birmingham. Contemporary dance company Alias from Geneva present Sideways Rain, world-famous ballerina Sylvie Guillem returns in 6000 Miles Away,  the ever-popular international festival of Hip Hop Breakin’ Covention and Sidi Larbi’s M¡longa  featuring a talented cast of Argentinian tango dancers and musicians. Celebrated choreographer Matthew Bourne will also bring a new production of The Lord of the Flies featuring a cast of New Adventures dancers alongside remarkable young talent from the West Midlands in an extraordinary adaptation of William Golding’s classic novel.

We also have an exciting announcement as the memory returns this September with the global smash-hit Catsclick here for on sale dates and priority booking for Friends.
