Ellie KurttzWow, what a figure! We have calculated that just under 56,000 people saw War Horse since officially opening the UK tour with us on Wednesday 16 October. During a four-week run and 31 performances the award-winning production played to complete sell-out houses at every show…thank you to all of you who made it such a success.

Producer at the National Theatre, Chris Harper who was born in Stourbridge and started his career at Birmingham Hippodrome said, “It was a dream come true to bring this production to my home theatre and it felt right that we opened the tour here. We are now already looking forward to heading back to Birmingham Hippodrome with another National Theatre hit, One Man, Two Guvnors in May next year”

We can’t wait to welcome back the lovely people from the National Theatre next year with the hilarious One Man, Two Guvnors – make sure you don’t miss it!
