Today marks day two of the second week of rehearsals for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. From tomorrow we lose our director, Michael Harrison for a few days as he heads down to Southampton for the technical rehearsals and opening night of Robinson Crusoe & the Caribbean Pirates starring Brian Conley and Lesley Joseph which began life at Birmingham Hippodrome last year and was such a hit it’s heading down to the coast this year. Which leaves me holding the fort.

We’ve ran through the entire show this morning, and will run it again this afternoon – it’s looking slick, camp, hilarious and really will be the biggest pantomime in the world!

We are also spending time going over the “If I did not work for the queen” song/routine – a very tricky number movement wise for the comedians but once we have got it spot on the audience will certainly be begging them for more.

There are some great lines in this show and literally something for everyone; look out for some very funny moments and something never seen in a Panto before…
