Our Chief Executive, Stuart Griffiths announces our exciting year ahead
“The year ahead features a wide variety of world class performance here at Birmingham Hippodrome. Ballet and opera classics sit alongside exciting new productions from BRB and WNO, and fans of the West End are spoilt for choice as we welcome hit shows including Top Hat, Shrek, Dirty Dancing, the National Theatre’s Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time, Barnum and The Bodyguard, plus lots more.
“We’re also particularly excited to be bringing two very different dramas to our Patrick Centre studio. We present The Frozen Scream, a brand new commission co-written by Christopher Green and award–winning novelist Sarah Waters. Later in the year, we welcome the multi-award winning actress Charlie Brooks in Nikolai Foster’s celebrated anniversary production of Jonathan Harvey’s Beautiful Thing.
“Lastly, I’m thrilled to announce that tickets are newly on sale for our 2015/16 pantomime Aladdin. Everyone here looks forward to welcoming new and regular audiences for a great year of thrilling live performances.”
